Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs)

The documents below are Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) for PNC benefits covered by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). They summarize the key features of a plan and describe coverage, eligibility, enrollment, how to file claims and your legal rights.

Important: The Adoption Assistance Benefits policy was last updated as of August 2011. As such, it does not reflect new provisions announced after that date. For information on current provisions, please refer to the article Introducing More Paid Time Off and Other Benefit Enhancements. Policy updates will be made as soon as administratively possible.

Health Savings Account (HSA)

While employee pretax HSA payroll contributions are made under the terms of the PNC Group Benefit Plan, the HSA itself is not part of the PNC Group Benefit Plan, and is not covered by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended (ERISA). It is offered by PNC Bank, National Association, independent of the PNC-sponsored employee benefit programs. Although PNC intends to continue its contribution to the HSA, it reserves the right to change, modify, amend or terminate this at any time and for any reason.
